The Consumption Rate Of SEPUP Kits

Across America, teachers are encountering the SEPUP program for teaching. In the almost 50 years since we shipped our first kit, we have been proudly providing school science curriculum kits to teachers across the nation. While these kits have become extremely popular, those who encounter them for the first time frequently question the consumption rate of the items in the SEPUP kits, including the extremely useful SEPUP trays.

Each of the science kits that LAB-AIDS sells comes with everything that is indicated on the package details. For some of these school science curriculum products, there are additional items or tools that the teacher will need to provide for their own classroom.

The reasons why we don't include these items varies. Some of the items can be dangerous to ship. We wouldn't want to accidentally cause a hazard with a broken bottle, so we allow you to provide these easy to locate chemicals for yourself. Other items are perishable, such as fruits and vegetables, batteries, and other household items. Still other items are ones that your school should already have available to you, such as microscopes.

We want to make using these kits as easy on you, the teacher, as possible. That's why we chose to include these SEPUP designed science kits in our product linae to begin with. Please note that every kit, regardless of size or school science curriculum it is designed for, includes a complete list of those items that are not included but are necessary for proper use. These convenient lists are designed to save you time, and to help you and your school system gauge the appropriateness and additional expenses associated with each of these science kits.

We likewise provide you with an easy to understand list of those items that are included in each SEPUP created science kit. In using the kits throughout the school year, your classes will use varying amounts of each included item. Some will be used indefinitely, and will need replaced only if destroyed. Others may be used up in only a couple of class sessions.

When you notice your supply of something running low, we encourage you to consider using the SEPUP refills that you can purchase from our site. Chemicals that are not created purely for SEPUP science kit usage may not be in the right concentrations. Any deviations will affect the outcome of future experiments made with the kit.

Our SEPUP trays are a special inclusion with these kits, and designed to make your life much easier. You know how much trouble glassware in the classroom can be. One fumble, and shattered glass flies everywhere. The SEPUP trays provide each student with 9 test tubes and 5 beakers as a single unit. You will need one for each student in your classroom, so plan ahead to make sure you have enough.

It is our hope that understanding what you need for using each kit will make teaching with them throughout the school year easier on everyone involved.
